In today’s world, detector canines are extensively used by law enforcement agencies, the military, private corporations, private individuals, and security personnel around the world. Our canines are trained to alert to explosives, narcotics, currency, firearms, or humans. Garrison & Sloan does not cross or dual train dogs in order to protect the integrity of your security needs. Explosive trained canines are trained to alert passively. Narcotics trained canines are trained to alert either passively or aggressively. Human trained canines are trained to alert vocally.

Upon completion of training, canine teams must pass certification. They are independently tested and certified to ensure they are of the highest standards in order to perform their duties. After certification, the canine team’s proficiency is kept current with weekly training sessions and on-site training seminars to keep them at maximum performance levels.

And Garrison & Sloan managers and supervisors will work around your schedule and goals; searches can be performed during prime working hours to maximize deterrence, or during non-intrusive work hours to avoid work flow interruptions. The Garrison & Sloan canine team will search for illegal substances such cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy, and marijuana. Under standard protocol, the handler will mark the areas the canine has detected, and your representative can make arrangements to open the contents after the search is completed. If desired, you company will be provided a report to aid in further investigation.
